I was lucky enough to make it out for this great event called Toss Back Tuesdays that is
held by The Sportfishing Conservancy. This trip was a completely "CPR" catch, photo, release trip
aboard the Toronado where they replaced the fillets with photos which was a awesome idea to
support C&R. so not only do you get a great photo of your catch, but you get to release your catch
and watch it swim free to live another day. The point of this event is to show that you can still go
out and have a great time on the water and still preserve our oceans for our young to catch and
enjoy in the future to come. With this i will start my report,
I became aware of this event after reading about it on another thread written by JapanRon.
After talking with JapanRon thru PM's i decided to make this trip out and support such a great
event and meet the founders as well as get some fishing in. I made it down to the landing and
set up my gear along the railing only to remember i had no smokes, Lucky for me a kind fellow
fisherman said he watch my gear and pointed me to the nearest 7-11. As i returned and parked
my truck i noticed JapanRon grabbing his gear from his truck and introduced myself.
Hoping the seaguls and cranes were goodluck like deer

We headed down to the Toronado where we set up all our gear and i got to meet fellow
FNN member "Fishstix" and everyone from The Sportfishing Conservancy that set up this event,
Tom Raftican,Bill Hopper,April Wakeman and many other great individuals.

We left the dock with a great group of anglers all there to support Toss Back Tuesday.
After a quick motor from dock we met up with the bait boat for some choice sardines and
a few squirters mixed in, as we were loading up bait i made my way to the bow and started
chucking a plastic and talking with another fisherman.

While looking away and not paying attention i got bit and missed it.,.,i thought to myself
aw damn that is not good, We arrived to the horseshoe in a matter of minutes and the bite was on.
There were plenty of charter and private boats around along with plenty of barracuda jumping
and boiling around for some good fishing. I started of fishing a dorado colored tady45 slow
retrieve on the surface for a number of boils before i got one to commit.
