Another Bako Pig!! 22.6lb

My neighbor Sai nailed his PB this morning. 22.6lbs gutted and cut in half to fit in the ice chest.

Kinda cool story and I gotta say he was dedicated to landing this fish. Fish was caught bait and waitn. Landed on
6lb line. When he saw the fish near the shore he handed off the rod to his buddy and got in the water and literally wrestled him up the bank. CRAZY!!!!! I wouldn't of done it, but shows the intensity and or blindness we fisherman can have when we have a toad on the line.

Fish was blind in both eyes, had someones busted leader sticking out of its gullet and weighed 22.6 lbs gutted and cut. So I guess near or at the 25 lb mark.

Here is the reason the fish was cut in half. He wasn't sure how long he was going to be out there and got paranoid about the meat spoiling..

Blind.......hmnnn....just confirms why those KPN's can be effective out there too.....

It would be interesting to see if a blind fish could zero in on a rattle lure by vibrations......

This one I'm sure was scent oriented !

Forgot to mention it was 40 inches long.

I cut the head off and plan on burying it at work tom. for a skull to go with my lingcod. I wish I would of done it with my fish.
