maybe the "Big One" is going to hit soon, you know which fault line it was and where it runs through?
I've lived in CA too long, didn't even feel the 5.9
I've been in LA for 15yrs now, from PA originally, back when I first got here used to feel the slightest shake, but now....nothing.
I might be sh17 out of luck if a large quake hit and not feel it in time to take cover.

I just checked the USGS homepage and the area on or around the Elsinore fault zone's been super active within the past week, BTW Elsinore fault zone is where the current quake happened, doesn't look too good.

Nothing like a big one to boost constuction business  We could use some destuction

I heard Ocotillo Wells ?

Ocotillo and Octillo Wells are 2 different spots about 20 miles apart.

So you must have moved here right after the Northridge quake.
Don't worry....on average, they hit LA/San Fernando Valley about every 20 years. So it's just about due to start dancin' ...and you WILL feel the next biggun.

The hilarious thing is the Northridge quake did no damage to our house, and actually cleared a clog from hell in our toilet. Lmfao!

But then that stupid hector mine quake had to happen, and broke our gas line >=(

You're lucky.
I lost nearly everything I owned in the Northridge quake.
