Pretty tired, gonna keep this one short and let the pics do the talking. Had a cool day, took my girlfriend out for her first time and she got on a few nice fish. Me my girl and a buddy (ninjafish) headed down to NPH around 4am and started fishing around 7th street. We were throwing super flukes in baitfish with some procure scent, calico cocktail I think. Anyway at the first stop after retying my lady's line twice (I did tell my girlfriend the day was about her). She gets into something that starts taking line like a 20lb fish on her little ugly stick pole, so I help her reset her drag,:Rolls Eyes: lol, and she works in a nice yellow fin croaker (I think, pls help if I'm wrong with the fish identification). http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx106/elevated_lc/fishing/IMG_0369.jpg
After that we worked our way down south and got into a few nice bass. http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx106/elevated_lc/fishing/IMG_0374.jpg

Next we tried out Balboa Island, this was all our first time on Balboa Island and it was pretty cool. Unfortunately I think the bite died down at this point and we decided to head home around 11. Definitely a fun day and I look forward to exploring more of NPH.
