Just got back from BS. Picked up a dozen ghost shrimp from Big Fish. Hit a bit north of where I usually go...I fished just north of lifeguard stand 17. High tide was peaking. First cast caught a good sized corbina. I'd say it was close 5 lbs so it was prob more like 3-4 lbs. Caught a few good sized BSP's and ended with a nice spotfin croaker...all gently released. The crazy thing was that as sunny as it was today, there was hardly anyone there. 2 hours of solid fun.

Sorry no pics!

Nice work on the stealthy one!

Have felt many and looked down to see them at my feet while searching for the flatties!

thanks guys. yeah I knew it was something pretty big when he hit too. I was using 4 lb test so it took me awhile...the waves didn't help either.

What does 3-5lbs. translate
into inches ? Depends I guess ?

well.. a 13 inch corbina usually weighs less than half a pound from my experience. Id say a 3-5 pounder would be 17-20 inches.

yeah it was pretty much in that range...like I said, using fuzzy math, that day it was 5 lbs...which usually means about 3-4 lbs...closer to 3 lbs though.
