Docks,
So Dan and I set off to fish the docks after the meeting at Knights Of Columbus. met up with Eyeamrealghetto/Erick and showed him some great sand bass fishing which it was. We started off with plastics Texas rig and Drop shot caught a lot with the plastics then it started slowing down. Erick brought some squid and we went to work with that the bigger units came out to play with the squid all over legal on the squid erick brought in a nicer 1 around 17 inches after I broke off on a big bass I assume, on 12 lb test. We called it a night at the docks around 4 am. It was nice meeting you Erick sorry I couldn’t get out with you to Bishop! I hope you slayed em!
Fish count:

6 spotted bay bass 1 legal
5 calico bass
25+ sand bass 11-13 legal

New Port Harbor,
After that Dan and I headed to NPH to meet up with Cpt.Kirk\Kirk but before we met up with him we took a 1 hour nap. So we met up with Kirk and aired up our tubes and on the way we were to a great day. We were hitting the bass on camo gulp jerk shad, shrimp, and swim baits. Kirk caught his first and a lot more spotted bay bass Tuesday and is ready to come back and bring his son.
As we were fishing Dan catches a spotted bay bass must have really pissed the bass off the bass put 3 holes in his tube! Dan went back to the car to see if he could fix his tube while Kirk and I stayed in the area and fished. I ended up catching my first spot fin croaker from Nph. After that dan calls me and Said its all good to go phew! Thank you super glue!!!
So on we went the rest of the day catching fish. There was a part where we trolled and Kirk caught a midshipmen a first for him and a new species to add for us in nph that we have caught.
Dan is on a quest for a legal hali from Nph he caught a nice 18 Inch hali Tuesday maybe next time!

It was nice meeting you Kirk congrats on your first SBB many more will come!

Great fishing with you guys Lets try for next week.

Fish count:
Midshipmen 1
Yellow* Fin Croaker 1
Sand Bass 7
Spotted Bay Bass 25+

w00t hot dayum u guys slayed them after

yeah... 14 hours of fishing is rough for me... freaking Swank went how many hours??? haha

Eastern Sierras was off the hook!!! gorgeous as usual. fishing was pretty slow for everyone that I talked to, skunks were rampant around the area but we managed to get a few fish every spot we went to until the last spot where the bite went WFO catching triple limits + releasing a ton more.

I was float tubing in 18-20mph with 35+ gusts. thought I was dieing man. hahaha! it was like perfect storm. wind was HOWLING!!!!!

ill post a report later, but tired is Eric. next time you better hop on this trip!
