CAUGHT THIS COMMON CARP AND HUGE KOI WHILE FLY LINING AT THE LOCAL PARK. WITH THE CARP SPAWN JUST OVER YOU CAN STILL HAVE CARP MILK FOR YOUR COFFEE, YUMMY!!( NOTICE THE ARM)

SOME OLD GUY OFFERED ME A CASE OF BEER FOR THIS 25 LB PLUS BEAST KOI, BUT WE ALL KNOW THIS MONSTER IS WORTH WAY MORE!! SO BACK INTO THE POND SHE WENT TO BATTLE ANOTHER DAY.

what do koi eat? saw a beastly one in el dorado, very close to shoreline. bright orange.

Wow beast of a fish. WTG on releasing the beauty carp, some people just don't see how great of a sport fish carp can be

Awesome catches and that's great on releasing them back. I believe I saw that Koi or another one of the Koi's trying to mate last week with a Carp or the Carp was trying to mate with the Koi?? Either way, looks like it was a good battle.

Koi are common carp, they just have weird colorization. Some are bred to be that way, others are just genetic freaks.
