Nice report and nice fish. I need to get some of that unibutter stuff.

I know Mike Gardner has a fishing video that my brother has and it shows him fishing with a few marine biologist guys who were talking about the behavior of spotted bay bass and they mentioned something about the DFG tagging some to run tests on the fish.

Nice report sullyfish! Another claim for the 'butter! Organic, local made {San Diego}. It's a great attractant in the bays and harbors. Used it today and lifted the skunk, 2 dink 'butts and 3 spotties at lunchtime. After the unibutter battle post, I started out fishing Dana today without it and nada. A couple of yakkers passed me and said they had no luck at all. Put on the butter and started catchn' fish. I have used many attractants and personally prefer the butter. Started using it this spring in Mission Bay. I'd rather spend a little more and support the local strt up companies as much as possible. Has any one used the trix jetty worms? I've made similar lures myself but these thing are crazy.

A few years ago I caught a tagged spottie at Newport. They will call you back to find out where you caught it and the size etc. You will get a $5 check in the mail.
