Sorry guys but i cant let the name out unless a good reason because this pond is crawling with 10lbsers and its barely been fished and if i let the name out im SURE it will be over fished... im rly sorry..PM me if u want the name.

Ok this is From my trip up north to the russian river, We got a beautiful house on the for 4 days. Fly fished for a little, then dicided to go to Kings sport and tackle in Gurnville. A very nice woman helped my to get to some bass (Secret pond)

1st time there i didnt fish for bass much, so i helped my sis get on some gills. They were everywere! caught about 20, and stopped cuz there just little fish and i didnt wanna kill any, so i decided to go for bass the last 25 min we were there and i pulled up 2 3-4 lbers

I went there again to get more fishing time, man i luv this place, hav u guys ever seen 6lbers swimming on the shore with other big fish!
Ok so ive been using the oldskool set-up of nightcrawlers, cuz there not tkaing any atrificials, baam first 5 min i get a nice 1, we only had a little time to fish, so i was trying to get the most i could, that day i caught 4 fish, 1 with out a pic...sorry camera wasnt neer me, I had a great time! GET OUT THERE AND FISH! ITS FUN! im glad i got to fish cuz i beat my slump!

Oh yeah, I know that spot well.
I'll tell anyone who wants to know exactly where it's at.
Guess you should have cropped the picture.
It's located right around the corner from the road that
leads to....your secret's safe with me, Bri.

Nice little green trout you got there.
Why no pics of your sis and her Gills. Security issues?

Nice report! I have always wondered about fishing for Bass. I have only, so far, fished for Trout. Don't they cut up your fingers quite a bit, hence the sock, and fight hard? Haha! From the looks of it seems like you had quite a bit of fun here....nice!

Brian, awesome report buddy.. Some great pics also dude... :D :D

That place sure looks great to fish and just relax at......... :D

Brian, just a FYI bud...

When you lip the bass stick your thumb in further, past the teeth row, then pinch the side of your first finger, your thumb will be bent and not against the teeth... The teeth will not bug ya then, and the bass seem to chill out also....

Try it with Bay Bass, they got some teeth, and do not calm down.. I have had my thumb shredded by spotties many times, feels great!!! (means I had a good day)... :D

Your becoming quite the bass master young Jedi..... :thumb: :udaman: :udaman:

Tell your dad I said "Good Job" & Hello...

Jeff, These fish wernt from the russian river, they were from the area near the russian river. There are steelhead in the river, they go upstream to mate around January... Do research and talk to people at tackle shops, ETC. You will get a lot of good info! :D

Jeff, the russian river should have steelies, chinooks, coho, smallmouth bass, sunfish, squawfish, and suckers.

Bri, I used to live in Guerneville so those pics of yours let me know the location of your secret pond...It is......don't worry your secret is safe with me.
