Fish ID Question

My son caught this a few months back out on the horseshoe along with a bunch of blacksmith perch. I know its in the perch family, any id on the specifics?

White Seaperch. More common in harbors, and around jetties near harbors. I catch lots of these with shrimp in Dana Point.

Since these will often be in mixed schools with sargo, and croakers, cast back where you catch these!
