Are the Shad Catchable yet at Castaic??

I haven't seen them in the shallows yet. I think they usually show up in the shallows in mid summer.

I don't really think so...it's way early in the season, I wouldn't count on it at all at this time of season, at least a month or two more.... (most likely 2 mo)roughly...

Maybe someone got some here or there, I don't know but to but my longstanding lake experience I'd bet no.
