Trout that eat cigarette butts?

when i cut open a trout i caught at lake isabella i found not one but TWO cigarette butts in its stomach, and i think the fish was passing a third.

this isnt the first time ive found the filter part of a cig in a trouts gut, and im curious-

does any else catch trouts that are full of cigg butts?

ya like 4 of the 10 trout i cought this year had Butts in there gut i was trying to figguar out how to make a jig out of cig buts but then i thought that a cig but prob needs the bait and wait use with them. my head started hurting from the thinking so i gave up lol

In all seriousness. I was eating sunflower seeds and some shells spilled from the cup I spit into, into the water. As they floated out the trout boiled ALL over them... It was after a stocking, but still. They go nuts for stuff that floats.
