took my cousin out cause im moving out to louisiana in a couple weeks and i wanted to spend a little time with him. anyways, caught a couple fish drop shottin the west dam. moved over to one of those islands and popped another on the senko. started fishin the weedlines with senkos. the only real pattern i got on was on more extended weed lines, they were coming from deeper water structure and ambushing into the weedline as opposed to coming out of the weeds to bite. popped on that was almost 5 another about 4 and passed off one to the cousin that was about 3 but had the head of 6. Finished the day with a few other misc pounders

I dont usually keep fish in the livewell outside of tourneys but when ur 12 its hard to let a fish go when we can drive around with them for a while. kinda glad we did, he loves this pic.

That's so true. That kid probably spent the rest of the day peering into that livewell at the catch. I did the same with a catfish last weekend. Put him in the livewell, got my picture taken, then let the fella go. No harm, no foul. Now maybe he will wisen up and not re-surface until he is about twice as big when your kid cousin is about 22 or so

Only asking out of curiosity. I didn't think EFI's were allowed on DVL. Did that change?

Mercury does make Four stroke EFI outboards that qualify. Is the motor a 2 or 4 stroke?

looks exactly like my old Merc 175 EFI 2 stroke..... nice reliable motor but I didn't think it qualified for DVL
