Well, i got some troops together for a 3/4 day on jim's charter on the blue horizon out of h&m landing on sun 5/30.
They consisted of myself ,Joe G, moon, rich(rich and noah)and riches buddy Tim. The rest of the anglers were filled by Jim(owner of the boat). Destination was coronado islands in search for the yellows. Conditions didn't end up being as good as the day before, but we made the best of it.
Long story short we had a small window at a good bite between 10:30 and 11:45. Basically the second and third stops were the hot spots. The first one to hookup was moon on the megabait! next was me on the 6xjr in dorado color. The rest was kinda like a blur since everyone was trying everything from flyline to yoyos with minimal success. I think most of the yellows were caught on the iron and maybe a couple on the fly.
The rest of the day was pretty much run and Gun for nothing.
Total count was 6 yellows with some other random fish for 16 anglers. I know everyone wishes it would've been limits for everyone but its never that easy, but Nonetheless it is always great to get out there and fish the salt!.. One things for sure,we're gonna have an interesting season!
Want to thank jim on the BLUE HORIZON for a fun trip. And to the guys ,it was great fishing with all of you. I look forward to the next one. Till next time!
Here go the pics!

Give JOE alot of credit for hanging in there with one hour sleep!

Fishing could have been better but at least the company was excellent. Good times. Glad we were not on any of the long ranges this past weekend. The Legend 2.5 day had 3 yellows total! Looking forward to next time.
