Man had to scratch the itch today and Aqueduct plans fell through so I headed to Santa Fe Dam in hopes of a little bass or trout action. No action was to be had for me and I really hope that today was the day that I paid some dues to the fish gods. I arrived at santa fe around 2, its was pretty cloudy and trying to rain on me. I set out a pole with some powerbait on it and rigged the another with a drop shot robo worm to see if there were any takers. This is when I forgot how to fish...bam birdnest, stuck in the trees, birdnest, trees, stuck 2 feet in front of me and this BS went on for about an hour. I was getting really frustrated towards the end and had to remind myself that I was not sitting working :LOL: Anyway I saw a few people with what looked like limits of trout, decent size stockers. At least I've got tomorrow to look forward to...
