NPH Saturday with fish stix and itchy bass

float tubed the harbor for a few hours in the AM.

Pretty swelly

we all got in on some fish, had a great time.

I got all of mine on spotty specials with calico cocktail, courtesy of jeff john and eddie.
gonna start fishing with my own tackle pretty soon haha




by the way anybody watch Lost finale? I feel jipped.

Good job on the spotties! The tide was perfect for fishing in the morning, I was fishing off Balboa Ave. Didnt get to see you guys fishing PCH lol too far :P

haha no kidding. i lost the balance bar on mine so its extra "fun" if you get the kind where you're kinda out of the water like itchybass has, then its not as bad I don't think
shoot... i got mine on sale at sports chalet for 45 bucks so i can't complain

m.a floatin around the harbor and hittin all the docks is a blast.i was a lil nervous the first time i took mine out ,but you get over it as sonn as you get your first fish.

NICE job guys!! Its starting to look more and more like i need a tube or a kayak to catch fish there anymore..lol..its been a bit tougher for me this season..Thanks for the report

float tubin is awsome at nph it is where i am learning how to FT its fun stuff catching alot more fish then when you are on the shore. it also helps us get to the spots where we wish we could get to

Keep searching and you will get into the bigger models!

Looks like FS had the best plan of the day with the BL and the homemade bread stick!

I would have sprinkled the bread around me and attacted some bait fish to pick up the bite though!:Wink:

I never thought about chumming up some baitfish but it might have attracted the dogs too. I did notice theres been plenty of bait in the water tho, last couple of times I wish I had a sabiki…maybe make some legal drifts? I’ll be keeping an eye out for the “S.Fever“.:Wink::Cool:

The Drifting thing seems to be our new thought tactic are the "Legal's" They just don't seem to want to play in tight!

Not quite sure it is as easy in the tube to reset the drift though as it is on the "SF" Hopefully she will return there soon!
