Piru 5.23.10 - windy bass

Got to Piru right at gate open this morning. it was pretty cold and windy all day, but by 1130 we got blown off the lake. Fishing was pretty slow today, but we managed to catch 2 fish today, 1 first thing in the morning and one literally on the last cast of the day.

so stoked and talking so much trash.

good to see someone got out today. we were heading to castaic, but cancelled in the morning due to weather...figured it would be closed. You guys should try castaic when the weather lays down. I love piru, but there's nothing like some fat striper filets on the bbq. Good job out there, I hear the trout has been so-so over there..

Gj out there... indeed it was a tough day. We managed a few small ones and 3 keepers. The fish were all up in the covers. They were hard to get to but there's always a way. We lost a lot of rigs. LOL
