Whuss good folks!!! I hit up Santa Fe today to try for some Bass. I had went to Castaic Lagoon earlier, but they werent letting any vessels launch there because of the gale force winds, so I made the drive back to SFD and launched with no delay.
I fished the island with a Lucky Craft Rick Clunn shallow crank and I slow crawled a Robo X Pitchin Kraw around the laydowns, but with no takers. I ended up only catchin the dink shown here on the crankbait. The water was a bit stained, and Im sure once it clears the bite should get somewhat better.
Oh yeah, if anyone fishes the south side of the island in the near future, I lost a Abu Vendetta spinning rod with a Bass Pro Shops Mega Tourney spinning reel on it in overboard off my Bass Hunter. Its a longshot, but if its recovered I would be greatly appreciative.
