Met up with Randy "lordisgod" Postname, in a Southern Bay
area cuz, does not seem Malibu is in a good

We were goin for Halibut at first in what was some troughs
we spotted ,and thought might be some Hali's cruising http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_idea.gif
Randy throwin a BH- Sexy Smelt lookin Swimmy,and I throwin

Two hours into that, we decided to try some sea weed area
a little left of the point. He is always showin me all this new stuff

So he whips out this new pack of "Yamamoto " Grubs, and I say.,

Walk over to this big patch of weed and BAM !!! nice bass on
the hook. two casts later BAM another one !!!
Bite in that area was dead after that for about an hour, so we decided to go on a Jetty in the area. Brought a 13ft. pole with 30lb. line to
throw squid on as just an extra chance of catchin something.
First cast, Randy hooks into a HUGE HALIBUT http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif
Major Bendo and strong pull, he tells me as I am watching him,
and getting ready to take a Video , just then, the reel screws up, the BUTT gets in the weed and shakes the bait http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

To bad about losing the H - But. You took great pic's of the others though.
Catch a lot of the shinners/perch up here in Goleta also.

Good job out there today Fishshep.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a decent day, since the weather is supposed to turn a little ugly.
