Just got back from Convict and Crowley. Went about a week or two too early. The fishing was very slow...but I have a few pics to share.

We were camped at Beaver Cove on Lake Crowley. It's nice because you can pick your own spot (no designated campsites) and be as loud as you want and you won't bother a soul. (No picnic tables or water though...and only one vault bathroom)

Looks like you guys did pretty good with limits. I was there the same week and I think we saw you out there. I was fishing from a kayak near Magee Bay with my son and son in law. We did pretty good catching limits with some larger units mixed in. We did have to move around to find the right spot. Nice report. I love that lake!

BTW what day where you guys out on Convict? I was there on Saturday fishing the inlet area.

We were on Convict Wednesday the 12th. We got there Tuesday, but it was way blown out. How'd you do there ?

We did ok. I caught one "on the fly" at the outlet, and my buddy caught a few at the inlet area.

Yeah Convict was tough. But so was Crowley. In fact, since this trip was disappointing, I'm thinking about shooting up to Utah for a couple days.
