TEAM 57 EAST Hits up the James River, VA Sat 5/15, pixs

TEAM57 EAST (Native Gals hubby) and co-worker was able to hit up the river last Saturday again, started out earlier for a change. Got on the water by 7 a.m., lots of boats out on a nice, sunny day. Fished the usual Herring Fillets, c-rig'd. Moved around to several spots and caught a few Rockfish (Stripers), but mostly Cats. Too many boats to fish around, was a nice day to cruise the river. Majority of the fish were caught before 1 and then the bite died down for the rest of the day. Only a couple to end out the day, and a few nibbles here and there. The Rockfish still did not qualify for the slot limit just yet, soon though. My husband lost a big cat (over 5 lbs easily) when he was about to scoop it up, it took a run and the knot came undone, :Evil: arrgggh! His co-worker lost a good one also. Was a slowwwww way to end the day but tons of fun as usual.
NJOY the pixs, hubby wasn't able to get pixs of himself, he is using his cell. The pixs are of his co-worker on his boat.
They started the day off fishing near Osbourne Landing again....

The days catch for the grill....was a slow day overall.....sorry, his cell phone did not have a flash...
Co-worker had the hot spot for the day 2 Rockfish and 15 cats....
TEAM57 EAST 1 Rockfish (1" shy of the slot limit) and 6 cats...
Co-workers wife, they picked her up later in the evening, a couple of cats.

Looks like a heck of a fish fry, thanks for sharing NG....keeping the TEAM57 style going from East to West wtg! I'll be taking the TEAM57 spirit to the Midwest over the weekend!
