Hi all, my girlfriend and i went up to Paridise Cove for some camping, fishing and most of all relaxation. Crappie bite was on for most, my girl and i spent most of our time at the point off camp 9 and for the most part was wide open on minnows and crappie jigs no bobber. it slowed a bit on Sunday but fishing was still great. weather was the best i have seen in a while, meaning no wind, tempatures were in the high 80's, fish were in 15' of water. i also seen many stringers of catfish at the cleaning station, fairly large too. these were caught by the locals who wouldn't tell how or where, only that the bad thing is they had to get thier boat wet. i suspect these were caught in the south east corner but i am not positive on this. usally when i fish for cats this is where they are abundant.
