Nph 5/15-5/16

Ill make this short. Both days i had 20+ spotties. Couple small halibut. And one TOAD Corbina!!!!
All my fish were caught on 3inch Big Hammers smothered in unibutter. I tried out braid with a floro leader and it is gonna take some time to get used to. I missed 2x what i caught.

Story about the corbina: Early morning. Through between 2 mouring cans along the shore. Got slammed and it immediatly wrapped me up on the mouring. i kicked my way over to it and unwrapped it and luckilly the fish was still there. fought him for another 4 minutes or so and saw this toad come up. couldnt get a picture of it ontop of the tape but when i measeured it, came out to be about 24". TOAD! And it was fat!. I wanted someone to be able to take a pic of me with it but it was barely 6 and no one was out. Oh well...

I was at lido this morning and got 20+... 80% were under ten inches haha. But that corbina made it worth my time.
Weather was wierd this morning with that heavy fog and super overcast.

Yo Sam those are some toad spots and fat bean. Next time you're out and there's no one around to take a pic of you set the camera on a dock and use the self timer. :Cool:

I would but i only have my cell phone. Im gonna try to find our old camera today. I wanted a pic of me holding that corbina so bad. next time!

nice cor. i was at there saturday i never seen another float tuber that day float tubed alot of the bay the fish were on the chew. id like to take my cam out there but i need something first to not get it wet.

Ya that jig head got me through 30+ fish and then the barb on it fell off. haha. Didnt even realize it until i dumped 2 fish in a row then checked it. lol
