Hey guys fished Lake Casitas with a few friends to tag along and put them on some fish, overall the fish are whackin' the dropshot & darter head jig's, Caught 10 LMB from 2.1 - 4.5 lbs on dropshotting and 8 LMB on darter heads (smaller grade 1-2 lbs) and 5 LMB on split shotting (2-3 lbs) and two fish on big jigs (3.7 lbs and a 4.3 lber) Fish are coughin' up shad and are very aggressive and fighting hard with light line! Fished 4" Berkley handpour worms in oxblood & prizim shad colors on the dropshot & darter head and split shotted 4" robos in arrons magic.

Here comes the shad bite. Have the shad started spawning yet in that lake?

Another great report. Did you catch those bass fishing rocky points? .

Fish are still on em, however they are starting to move around to wherever the shad is right now. Gotta find the bait and you find the fish :) Found a few breaking fish on a point and we dropshotted 5 fish on one point, because they were stacked up from all the bait being there.

Shore fishing ? If you are fishing from the shore try to get a spot in deepcat - the shad are in there and the bass are busting on em in that cove from time to time. Also the airplane strip has been a good area and you'll get a few in the marina.
