The crew is headed to Rock Creek for the 1st annual Spring Kayak & Tube Trip. 12 guys in 4 campsites hitting a June Loop Lake, an undisclosed location and Rock Creek. The story and photos to follow.

Pics to follow but here's the report:
Left Rancho Cucamonga at 3 am and we were eating breakfast at Tom's Place at 8 or so. We fished a crowded Intake II for a mixed bag of tiny rainbows on trout worms. monday morning we fished Little Walker Lake. It was cold and too windy for me (kayak) but the tubers got a couple of 2# class browns on crankbaits. Tuesday we hit Convict for more wind and once again I beached the yak and tossed trout worms for 2 small C&R rainbows. The tubers did better again.
Looks like I save the yak for bay bass and buy a tube for sierra trout.
