Ran into Marcus Camby and then got my first Halibut

Me and a couple buddies decided to fish Playa Del Rey today. We stopped off in Marina Del Rey to get some live bait. Before stopping there we went to ralphs to grab food. That's when I saw Marcus Camby. I assumed he was in LA trying to sell his house since he's no longer with the Clippers. Anyways, he was nice enough to let me take a picture with him.

I guess seeing him was good luck because later that day I got my first halibut. Measured short by just a couple inches so he had to go back. My next goal is to get a legal one!

You'll get that legal quick enough. I finally just got mine Friday, after trying since last October from the surf. Now that the water is warming up, it should be easier to get.
