Fin 5/14/10

Fished the Fin from 10:30 to 3 or so today. Started off with my folks with PB, anchored on the second small launch ramp. Not a bad bite at all. 7 stockers caught in total, couple fish lost. Mom was the hot stick today, 4 fish on PB. She left early to run errands so my dad and I trolled the rest of the day. Got 2 nice sized fish on a size 1 Needlefish flatlining the top, with a couple hits that didn't stick. Not to mention, some nice sunny weather and very little wind till 2 or so.

Fin and Feather at Palmdale.

Trolling the rapala double jointed has worked for us. Last trout stocking of the season. Then anchored and relaxed til it picked up. Then it was on.

Did they stock those huge ones again this year? Some crazy 5 fish stringers came out of there last year....
