Nice (2) Days at DVL 05-12-10/ 05-13-10

Went fishing yesterday 05-12-10 and today 05-13-10 at my favorite lake (DVL). The fishing at Diamond Valley is still pretty good. There are a lot of shad in the lake and the bass are eating well. I caught about 10 bass yesterday all in the 3 lb. - 4 lb. range all within 3 hours. I forgot my camera at the house yesterday so I don't have any pics from yesterday's catch. Today 05-13-10, I caught about 10 bass all in the 3 lb- 3.5 lb range. Top water, T-Rig, C-Rig, and Drop shot are all effective methods of catching LMB at DVL right now.

Get out to DVL and have some fun while the bite is still good. Remember if one technique is not working don't be afraid to switch it up even if it means trying something new. Tight Lines.......

Yet another lake I'd love to go to but is just out of my range. Luckily I got this summer off so maybe I can get out there for a try. Congrats on the two great days, nice lookin fish.

I think I saw you launching this morning, Sunday? I was in the lil' tracker launching by myself. Fog in the morning was crazy without GPS.

Yeah, I did go this morning. I caught several stripers in the 2lb - 3lb range. I cant believe the amount of stripers in the lake. The stripers were blowing up on the west end of the lake. Only caught 3 LMB because the stripers were so aggressive.
