Took the wife yesterday for the slowest day so far in the summer. We caught 17 sand and spotted bay bass. The good thing about the day was that 6 bass were over 2 1/2 pounds. Started at 630am and fished to 1030. We again used 3-4" big hammer swimbaits. The day may have been slow because i fished all new areas today. I know my typical spots have been great so i wanted to explore the rest of the harbor! My wife decided that she would not come again unless i took her to where i already knew the fish were plentiful. She only caught 3 yesterday, and that makes her want to go home pretty fast. Taking my dad out again on Wednesday maybe i will see some of you out there again! Good luck and tight lines.
