What is your go to bait for bass and why? Or most reliable??

Mine is a purple and brown jig with a purple or watermelon trailer. I can go anywhere and catch bass on it, anytime of the year too.

I have also found out in passed tourneys that a jig bite can go all day. Where as topwater or reaction bite may die down during the day.

T-rigged R.I. Sweet Beaver, color to match water conditions. If they won't eat the reaction baits, and the first few hauls with jigs go for nothing, I'll fish this next before I go to dropshot. It can be fished any place, any time. Under docks, weedlines, tules, C-riggin, you name it can be fished that way

Mine would have to be the drop shot, with either oxblood or purple color. When everything else is failing this is my go to, kinda sad. I need to get more confidence in using other set ups. Although wacky rig senko with o-ring is kinda working really good for me lately.
