Here are some pics of my annual may trip to bridgeport for some early season fishing. stayed at doc and al's near twin lakes. nice cabin overlooking the creek.

ill keep this short. the overall fishing was pretty slow. weather was really nice, very sunny, but still cold and windy at times. i think this might have the fish feeling a little lethargic. (at least thats what i tell myself)

spots fished: lower twin lake, east walker river, robinson creek, lundy lake, owens river.

fly fishing, using 5x leader, and usual dries, para adams, elk hair caddis,
micro mayflies, zebra midge, flashback emerger, copper john, blue dun,
bwo, extended body bwo, prince nymph.

spin fishing i used rapala's CD-7 & 9 in brown, minnow, blk / slvr, rainbow.
crawlers, power bait, power worms pink, thomas bouyant, rooster tails, castmaster. trophy sticks.

ALL MY FISH WERE CPR'D

5 browns, biggest going 22inches.
2 rainbows, pansizers. caught on pink power worms

cant wait to get back in july for a week.

*BIG FISH OF THE TRIP WAS MINE. A 22 INCH BROWN OUT OF THE EAST WALKER, CAUGHT ON BROWN PATTERN RAPALA - CP&R OF COURSE.

A 22 inch brown is always worth the trip. Nice pic's... I have always felt Robinson Creek is the prettiest stream up there.... The last picture looks like the irrigation canals that run from Bishop to Big Pine.... I thought I was the only fool that fishes them.... Heading up first thing Friday morning myself.... Great Report!!

thanks for all the comments everyone ! we all had a great time, regardless of the fishing conditions....even if it was a little slow, its just great to get away from the daily grind, and enjoy god's country !! nothing like a little R & R in the sierras !! and catching some nice browns helps too
