The surf looked very promising for me this morning so i decided to head up a little past morro bay to my hot spot for a little perchin. Originally wanted to go out codding this morning but none of the boats had enough reservations to head out. Maybe i'll go thursday. Anyway, the bite was SLOOOOOOW, missed a bunch of perch bites but even then they were few and far between. Ended up with 4 BSP on various grubs. The exciting part of the day was getting my first hali in a loooooong time, only about 12 inches but a good sign that the water is starting to warm up a bit. Also, i got my first saltwater striper, also about 12 inches on the grub. The hali and the striper bring my 2010 species total to 15
