Newport Harbor - 5/2/10

Decided to rent a skiff this past Sunday and fish Newport Harbor for bass. We hit all of my spots and ended up having a pretty good day. At the end of the day some guy cruising the harbor told us he marked some fish back where he came from. So we went there and ended up catching a few more. All in all we had 38 fish between 3 of us. I had 20, friend had 13 and dad had 5.

We ended up catching mainly spots, but managed a couple sandies and 4 short halibut. It was a fun day out on the water. No pictures were taken, but the harbor is starting to pick up.

nph was real nice this sun.i was out there on my float tube.couple spots and 1 nice butt.great weather cool breeze.
