It was quite a surprise to show up early to my favorite lake to find so much water. I brought a new fisherman friend with me this past weekend and was able to get one of the few spots in front of the cleaning table area. We had a few bites but lost them all. People on each side of us caught some and there was a younger kid in next to the launch ramp catching trout every hour. Were going to try again in about 2 weeks hopefully we will have more shore access to fish from. Thanks for a good time Chris, at least we had fun fishing without the catching part.
