it was an amazing day all the fish that were caught in close combat situations.the fish were holding tight to cover and all fish were caught on senkos.if anybody is going this month it should be awsome.we boated over 150 fish most fish were in the 2 lb. range but did manage a few nicer ones.here are some pics i hope you all enjoy.

Jeez! I knew Lake Berrett was good, but not 150 two pounders good! Haha. Those bigger models are NICE. Great job.

I had bandages on both my thumbs on Sunday.

After an inning was over, I'd walk back to the dugout and lay down to take a short nap.

Barrett...you better take your vitamins.

Fished opening day with a few buddies......seems like the fish we got all wanted the white spinner baits......lots of nice 2-4 lB fish with some 5+ taken along the trees in the Howser arm.

MAN IS THE WATER LEVEL HIGH!!!!

Sweet, we got our reservations set for the 15th and 29th, can't wait!! We always take the last train out of there till the chase boat comes after us, lol. I think this year with the higher water levels and a more warming up of the water, the evening bite will be wfo!! The good days are when us boaters are on and my floater buddies nearby are also hooked, just need someone to take a pic or two of us all on a hookup. You can bet the reservations for June are all going to get booked even faster, like in two minutes, lol.

Maybe the topwater action wil happen by then, love that "running and gunning" or when the wolfpacks make the shorelines go alive. Maybe the 100 per person days might come back, but even if it doesn't, just to be on that lake is good enuf', tho' I won't complain if it's a 35-55 count per angler day either.

How early did you guys get in line and whereabouts inside the first line or in the second lane?

Great job guys. We fished Barrett yesterday and had to work our butt off to get 30 fish. Most of our fish came on spinnerbaits. Our big fish was 3.5 (d/s Robo Purple Punisher). The water level is waaaaay up, all my favorite trees to fish are under water now. What color Senko were you guys using? How were you rigging it (T-Rig, Wacky, etc.) Again, great job!

P.S. I have reservations for Barrett this Sunday and was looking for somebody to fish with. PM me if you are interested.
