Hi all,

I'm converting my swimming pool into a pond and would like to stock a few dozen threadfin shad. My pool is about 25 ft in length and is 8 ft deep at it's deepest end and will have a filtration system for water movement and oxygenation. My question is, do any of you know where and how I can get these things and more importantly, how would I transfer them alive? In addition to that, do any of you guys know where I can get some lillies as well? Thanks!!

Scott

not sure if you can buy them live or not, but you cannot transfer any live fish from one body of water to another.

haven't ever seen them online anywhere. but legally if you raise them in your pond, you can not take them to the lake.

Thats what feeder goldfish are for, or left over shiners from San Diego.

not trying to, just sayin just in case he didn't know. But most things are only illegal if you get caught.
