Question!!??!!??

I have some Hodgeman waders for trout fishing, will they get messed up if I use them for surf fishing??

Just wash them down and you should be fine. You thinking of joining me and Brandon finally?

...of course any metal (eyelets, lace hooks, buckles) on them will rust after time. Also, leave the felt bottom soles (if you have 'em) at home - you won't need them in the surf and they tend to have lots of stuff on them that will rust and the felt will start to smell like Bigfoot's armpit.

One annoying problem I've had: I ripped the neoprene feet of my waders putting on and taking off the snug-fitting flats boots I like to wear over them. Those feet are impossible to patch. Guess I need to be more careful.

What if you spray them with some Corrosion-X or something? I know its "meant" for reels but it should still do the trick :P
