LB 4/25 With Jason and Tess

[HESBROS]

Well, orginally Steve (Flyngby) had made some plans with Jason and Tess to do a NPH trip Sunday just as we did last year for Jason's B-day but something came up and Steve was not able to make it happen. So I made some arrangements and was able to take them out on our boat today.

We launched from Davies in LB at O'dark-thirty and clear Alamitos bay by 0530 and headed down to the pipe for some bassin'. It was not wide open but we got a few there.

Next stop was Izor's where we only got one to go there.

Wind was coming up around 1200 so we went inside (maybe for Tess's sake too :Secret:) and tried a few hali drifts but the wind was too much for using platics so we headed to our Sculpin spot and dropped the hook there. It was wide open on all the fat Scullies you wanted. We must have got at least 40 before calling it a day at 1730.

Jason and Tess, Rich and I had a great time fishing with the two of you, cracks us up when Tess giggles when she gets bit!

Eddie & Rich thanks for hosting another fun and entertaining fishing trip. Me and Tess had a great time out there. Well, I guess Tess didn't have too much fun during the first half of the trip, but a little Sculpin Therapy helped remedy that by the end of the day. :LOL:

It was all new for both of us, bassin in deeper waters, and we learned a lot. That Sculpin bite was crazy. LOL Never experienced a bite like that in such a short amount of time. Thanks again to both of you for putting togther another fun birthday trip for me.

Happy belated and glad to see Eddie and Rich were able to pick up the pieces after our plans fell through! Not so sure I could have put you on the toads like that in our Harbor Sequel!
