The small lake is the members only lake, or at least it used to be. They would split the stock between that lake and one of the bigger lakes, and then have a derby, with restricted access to the small lake.

So what is it to fish the other two lakes? I thought it was $15 to fish those lakes, and to fish the lower you had to pay the yearly membership?

The Retreat SUCKS nowa days. It use to be a good spot 4 Bass. Now its a shi#
hole! Masssive grassbeds in the summer, no fish in the winter/ baby trout. Dont waste your tym here........... WORTHLESS place to fish unless u live down the street.

i used to catch trout and catfish there, and my biggest carp of my life(est. 30 lb.) was caught in the medium size lake, the members lake is best though, fishing can be slow there because they dont stock a lot of fish only twice a month
