A Newbie Question

I was thinking of taking my nephew out to rent a boat at DVL to fish for bass in the next 3-5 weeks. Is is still a good time to go since the spawning season is almost over? I am not an experienced fisherman, so just wanted to get everyone's opinion if it is still a good chance for us to catch fish if we do or if it's already too late. Thanks.

It is still really good there, fish the dams and you should do just fine. Take a look at some of the reports on here and you will get alot of great help.

With the kind of weather weve been having i dont think the spawn will be over until july. so u got plenty of time if sight fishing is something u wanted to do

It is a very good time to go out now.Dont forget to get some senko's,they work great with the wacky set-up.Give them a shot.You wont be sorry.
