I guess they weren't done stocking yet. At about noon I was out back when I see the stock truck pull up across the river at Frandy Park and he's towing a trailer with an extra tank of fish. He backs down to the river pulls the plug and dumps the whole tank. Had to be a thousand fish. I guess with a 10,000 lb stocking they need about 9 more truckloads up and down the river.
Work and crappie fishing (slow today) on my way back from Isabella (the town) kept me away from the water till 6. Finally get to fishing. 7 casts and 4 fish. Things are starting out great especially since the crappie didn't cooperate. Phone rings, wife says dinner is ready, of course. While eating dinner all I can think is I'm loosing light, and fast, and I still need get to the store before they close at 8. Finally hit the beach at 7:10. 6 more casts and 4 more fish and I'm done by 7:30.
Let the carnage begin!
