I have a 2002 Honda 4 stroke short shaft outboard for sale. My buddy and I purchased it for an aluminum skiff we bought but the first time we took it out we realized the shaft is too short and prop starts to lift out of the water at higher speeds. It started easily and ran great though. The price is $1,400 or best offer. Also willing to trade for a 20 - 25 hp, electric start, 2 stroke with a longer shaft in good condition.

so it was too short for that skiff its on in the photo? i've got about the same rig so it might not work on mine either.

Ya, it is the one in the photo. If you notice there is no cut out in the transom it is straight across so that extra few inches of height made the difference.

LMAO, that was funny. Yep, sucks it didn't work out but now we will end up with a little more power to push the sled.
