I had to share this... I was at The Vine on Saturday and I snapped my Powell cranking rod in half on a hook set. I had accidentally broken the tip off a few months before and I paid Powell the $40.00 fee to replace it. This time I felt that it was a manufacturer problem so I decided to call. Keith the owner of Powell answered the phone and I explained what happened.... Keith not only offered to replace to rod; but to replace the rod with a brand new prototype cranking rod that not even the pros have yet. :EyePop: I have to say that I will stick with Powell rods for good after this experience.
