BEERACUDA'S BLUE COLLAR TOUR-PART 1 of 2

Some of you have been saying you've seen my face on the backs of milk cartons and someone reported me to ADVO... the missing person's agency... lmao... I Went and visited some family/relatives and managed to scour around Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. Managed to drive about 800 miles within the five days... Stayed at my mom's house about 35 miles outside Lousiville near Fort Knox. Drove to Eastern KY to stay with relatives and fish and drink beer and hike. Damn I ate the best country cooking I've ever had in my life. Everything was homegrown. Eggs, Milk, Chicken, Bacon, Pickled Corn, Greenbeans, Homemade biscuts and Gravy.. Homemade liquor... Damn!! Homemade Fudge!!!! The list goes on!! lmao Boy was it hot and humid! I've never seen lightening and thunder like that... it was awesome. Managed to drink some moonshine with my grandma, she's 86 years old and we wondered why she was grumpy in the mornings and happy in the afternoon's... well I caught her drinking the bottle, and I told her.. "Damn Grandma, you better give me some of that" lol... They live in a dry county so if you want liquor, you have to drive to the next county and stock up or make it yourself.. I felt like I traveled back in time about 50 years... I took about 500 pics so I'll put up some of the better ones... Did manage to fish a couple days while I was there... it was very interesting and different! The bugs tore me up!! Went to the basspro in Indiana as well... :) Enjoy

***Some things I had to leave out of here due to the protection of my family... my grandmother was in a concentration camp in world war two and she has some of the most remarkable things I've seen from the war I wish I could share... they are all in mint condition as well...but some of it being nazi materials and belongings..yes(Hitler) so it's sort of a quiet matter... she's told me stories that I couldn't believe of how she survived... it's the most gruesome, horrific stories and it might offend some people so they will be left out.... maybe some of you that know we well, ask me and i'll tell you someday....

Hey Beerboy, that pony was coming onto you.....lol

That pic of Cumberland has got the song "Cumberland Blues" by the Grateful Dead running through my mind. It's a short jog. Ha Ha.
It appears as though Gerry Garcia described it perfectly.

I'm glad you get to visit your Grandma. We'll talk about her over a brew someday soon.

I saw that Rob had caught a fish (part 2), what about you? Share the wealth. Let's see the FISH PORN.

Hey One Leg,

I think you would rather see the other kind of porn instead.. my girl didn't go on this trip, so sorry, no shots... LOL... People hate when I put up massacres of fish, I don't understand why... lol We did manage to catch quite a few kitties once the clams took off but we threw them all back... didn't feel like cleaning catfish in 95 degree weather with 85 percent humidy.... damn it was nasty... lol

Love part one.... makes me lonely for my southern family. I could almost feel the humidity looking at your pictures. I think a car/fishing trip is in order.

Wow do those pics take me back to 1968.......u r right about the 50 years behind the times. I lived in a little place called E'Town about 12 miles from Fort Knox. for about 3 years All that homemade fresh food..wow..... VERY DRY COUNTRY......had to drive to a place called Flarety for booze...next county or visit the local bootlegger or moonshiner in the hills. Humidity and bugs destroyed the experience for me but would love to go on a sight seeing and fishin trip again.

The water in the river(s) looks so clear, I'd just want to jump in and drink it.
