All,
In response to many requests, we have revised our former "No Release" policy on crappie in realization of how fast the fishing for the slabs can get at times.
The bag limit for crappie remains at 5, but releasing as many as you want is now allowed.
However, CULLING and HIGHGRADING is not allowed.
That means once a crappie is on your stringer or in your fish basket, it's yours.
If you bring a crappie up to the boat, but quickly and gently release it, you can continue to do that even with 5 fish in the boat.
No sorting through your catch and "culling" out the smallest ones.
This is a more than fair policy that will allow anglers to have maximum fun on those upcoming summer nights when it's no problem to get a bite every drop.
Have Fun and Thanks!
