I had to run down to Norwalk this morning (4/17) so I figured I’d take some gear with me and do a little fishing in L.B. after. Went over to 72 st. for a few hours of rock hoppin and bass catchin, throwing a pumpkin seed grub. Long story short, ended up with a couple bass, 1 being a new PB…for all time smallest calico. :Rolls Eyes::LOL::LOL:

nice job out there. Did you fish pretty far down the jetty? I've never tried the grubs there, only swimmies.
also, how did you get out there? i thought it was all blocked off for the Grand prix?
Was going to hit the jetty yesterday but i was told traffic was blocked off at 2nd street all the way to ocean. I was pretty bummed to say the least.

Those Spotties are tough fighters, it kept trying to bury in the rocks.

Grubs are pretty productive out there. I worked my way out to the middle of the jetty and then back down. To get there I exited on Cherry and took Beach blvd. to the jetty.
