This is a post to see what a) your favorite way to fish the lakes is and b) beside what you like to do what do you think is the most effective way to catch trout......... I think this could be iteresting to see everyones views but in this post please no arguing just state your oppinions and dont knock others. its ok thisfool i picked up on dropshotpower worms but i hae never caught anything on it yet BUT....... i know it is effective cause many of my fellow fnn friends catch with them, i just like the jigs.

if someone put a gun to my head and told me i had to fish a lake for trout, i'd think about it long and hard and then probably wait until dusk and hope for a rise... and if a rise didn't materialize i'd probably just tie on a hares ear and drift around with my eyes closed, dreaming about rivers;)

Try a water bubble and a dry fly. I use that a lot when the time is right and it does very well.

I have done the dry fly bubble too. It works good in bishop!! but I completely argee with you " nothing beats jigs"!!!!!!!!!!
