i think it was called the twallamee river.....caught a few bass and salmon there....

It's called the Tuolumne River, and it starts in the high country of Yosemite National Park. The only place I have fished it though is in its upper reaches, during summer. It's a very good wild trout fishery up there (Brook, Brown and Rainbow). I heard it has good trout fishing below Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, too, which is closer to Modesto.

Thanks guys.. i was up there not to long ago @ a place called knights ferry.. it looks amazing for fishing but i dont have a fly rod. I went camping @ lake melones n saw HUGE catfish near the boat house but nothing i casted worked lol i even got pics of them swiming around ima try those rivers.. but iono what to use since i dont fly fish.. any tips?
