Hansen Dam Rod and Reel Club Special Needs Event 4/9

Decided to drop by and help out the kids at this event. Met up with some FNN'ers and we were all just chillin and messing around. Saw:
Bones, BigRed, kpn, Capt'n, fishyboy, Feelthesteel, Finsmackdown, Wingnut, NohoFart, Hitts0n, and a few others I cant remember lol.

It was a great time with the kids, they all had the biggest grins in their faces and all were just smiling and having some good quality outdoors fun. My kid's name was Mohamed, he was really excited and enthusiastic about fishing. He was a nice kid too!

But, Overall, fishing was a bit slow as they stocked less fish this year, but some decent fish were caught too, Finsmackdown might have caught the biggest one... There was some fish caught and that was good enough.

This was a super FUN Event! The kids were just ecstatic when they got off the bus and were happy that someone is willing to help them out from the school to home regular life. I'm looking forward to this ever year! Thanks EVERYONE who showed up! Thats awesome for you guys to have such a big heart!

As far as Hittson fishing reel, If you want to reel right handed ( On most nicer reels ) you can unscrew the handle on switch it from the left side to the right side . No need to hold your spinning rod upside down. Spinning rods are not made to fish like that . Back bone will be wrong on the rod holding it that way . Seen may a person fish like that ( Upside down spinning rod set up ) I guess different strokes for different folks .:LOL:

You are right, I got some ginger for u buddy. Nice of all the FNNr's to take the time and help the kids out. Maybe one will be hooked for life like so many of us on here. Thats priceless in my book.

I want to thank all of you who spent your valuable time helping these kids go fishing. I can tell you that this means a lot to the kids. Most of them wouldn't have the chance to do this kind of thing if it weren't for you volunteers.
