What size weight do I use for dropshotting in the surf?

Depends on the strength of the current. If its really strong I would use a 3/4 or 1 oz weight. For lighter current I would use a 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz. Pair that up with a berkley gulp jerk shad and your good 2 go. I would use the 1/4 oz ds weight.
